Dear Anonymous,
Don’t worry. I’ll be fine.

legitimately don’t care if the kh franchise wants to make remixes on all of their old music, i unironically love all versions of dearly beloved and sacred moon. fight me.
this song, from kingdom hearts: dream drop distance, is easily the best song on the entire game’s soundtrack imo. it’s an eerie, haunting, almost bittersweet version of sacred moon with a hint of dearly beloved’s piano refrain interspersed. it’s unsettling, to say the least, when sora and riku are exploring the last world—like a whisper of caution to both of them that something isn’t right. i love that the remixes of all these songs are done so in a way to thematically fit the way the games restructuring of its own plot and directions. sacred distance is an excellent example of this.
Dear shybritishguy,
I didn’t want truth and justice. I wanted to believe what my brother was telling me, ja?
But there was this nagging feeling, gently tugging on my doubts. I had to turn around and face it.
It was a numb realization. Even now I don’t know what to feel.
